My resume drafting process consists of three 90-minute sessions, held over Zoom, by phone, or in person (if you’re in the Ann Arbor area). We don’t have to use the full time, or we can take more if needed. Each session builds on the last and focuses on a different stage of creating your resume.
THE PROCESS:
STEP 1:
The Information/Yapping Session
The first session is all about you.
We’ll discuss your background, work history, professional goals, and any upcoming deadlines or specific positions you’re targeting.
I’ll learn about your experience, so we can frame your story effectively.
STEP 2:
The Writing Session
The second session is where your resume takes shape.
We’ll create impactful, action-driven bullet points that highlight your accomplishments and strengths.
You’ll also learn how to tailor your resume for specific positions or opportunities.
STEP 3:
The Design & Final Edit
In our final session, we’ll focus on formatting and polish.
We’ll format and finalize your resume, review it line by line, and ensure it’s ready to send out.
You’ll receive an editable version in Word or Google Docs, and I’ll walk you through exporting it to PDF.
